OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this study is
to examine the impact of Anti Corruption Commission in preventing corruption in
Zambia
INTRODUCTION
Corruption has been
defined in many ways. Defining the phenomenon has, however, proven to be
difficult task. The most common and simplistic definition is that corruption
is: “the abuse of office for personal gain” (Klitgaard, 1996, 34). Although it
is not the purpose of this paper to offer a rigorous meaning of corruption, it
is important to highlight some of the manifestations of the phenomenon.
